A two-level apartment in Cracow with a floor area of 65 m2 was designed by Morpho Studio. Level one constitutes the day zone – space available to guests; level two is more private, intended mainly for the owners.
The apartment is owned by a couple in their twenties: medicine students and animal lovers. Hence the animal motifs as a frequent element of the furnishings (ostrich wall console – Ibride, rabbit lamp – Moooi, Birdie’s Nest ceiling lamp – Ingo Maurer, a rat graphic on the wall (hand-painted), a cat graphic in the toilet). The austere, minimalist and monochromatic interior is softened with the use of strong color elements.
