As small electric bikes have become markedly more mainstream over the last few years, not only are an increasing number of big-name manufacturers experimenting with proton-powered designs but so too are independent concept artists, who are also pushing the boundaries in this emerging realm. One brilliant example of this can be seen in the CRTWRKS MOTO concept.

The all-electric motorcycle rendering is the product of Cambridge, Ontario-based conceptual artist and product and transportation designer, Adam Carvalho, who currently serves as an industrial designer at Google, though he’s also previously worked for prestigious companies such as KISKA, the firm that designs all of KTM’s motorcycles. The futuristic two-wheeler looks to be built around a monocoque frame that incorporates the battery housing as a stressed member in an effort to reduce weight. The belt-driven concept also packs square lighting with rounded edges fore and aft, with the taillight also doubling as the charging port. The CRTWRKS MOTO’s cockpit is another major highlight, equipped with a HUD-style digital display and an incredibly unique top triple and clip-on arrangement with integrated fluid reservoirs and bar-end LED indicators. The girder-style fork covers and minimalistic tail section also help to give the e-bike a decidedly aggressive stance.
