The design of the BAFFI was inspired by the old train station in Northern Italia. TBDC kept the wall blank which only surrounded by metal sheet, and used apple wood to be the pillar with modern shape. Modern and rustic at the same time, a new style of Italian dinning room was created. Accompanied by the red brick walls out of the door, all the passersby could see the whole dinner space and the atmosphere through the glass window, meant to please their eyes. The open-style kitchen enhances the connection between chefs, food and all the customers. In addition, the short sentence on each table, the pictures in the gentlemen and ladies room, both reveal the sense of humor which is another design language of Italia image. Behind the design is a simple philosophy of dinning. Thus BAFFI tries to reflect the free and easy of Italian eating culture.
