Wake up in the treetops in this incredible pine cone–shaped treehouse overlooking a grand fjord in Norway. Suspended 6 meters above ground level, Woodnest is a small cabin wrapped around the trunk of a tree, and can accommodate 4 people inside. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen area and a living room from which to enjoy a unique and privileged view of the fjord. The unique treehouse is accessed via a small timber bridge, leading the visitor off the ground, into the structure and up in to the tree. Designed by architecture studio Helen & Hard, the aim was to create a space that truly embodies what it means to dwell in nature.
