The new interior design brand – Formae, featuring metallic geometries will be participating in the Paris trade fair – Maison et Objet, for the first time, where it will unveil its new collection Roommate.
A metallic soul, but not cold because of this. Lightweight geometries make up objects which seem to acquire their substance through the compactness of the colour. The Formae universe is composed of interior design accessories as the words of a minimal language – graphical accents, pop grammar, modular syntax – to be combined in ever-different manners, allowing owners to experiment with new, more relaxed and convivial living solutions.
Formae also adds another unusual characteristic to its clean product geometry: born of a family manufacturing company specialised in metalworking, the young brand draws on an artisan know-how which reinterprets and gives new personality to the industrial semi-finished products which form the starting point for each object. In this manner, each product retains the echo of an industrial aesthetic which acts as a counterpoint to a skilful manual activity able to update its forms, each time creating authentic and original details.
At this September’s Maison et Objet – the international trade fair dedicated to the design and decoration of interior spaces – Formae will be officially presenting its brand and unveiling its second collection Roommate, at hall 6, stand J 158 in the Today signature section, dedicated to modern lifestyle with designs from both emerging and well-known designers.
