Kiki & Joost is a couple of Dutch designers, trained and working in Eindhoven, with a strong curiosity for self-production. Freeform is a series of sculptural lamps with an abstract shape. The geometries are realized through the ancient glass art of the Venetian Rezzonico, applied to the ceramic material.
Kiki & Joost: Freeform is about natural and fluent lines drawn in continuous movement, without hesitation. By using Rezzonico, an old Venetian glass technique applied to produce glass chandeliers, Kiki creates freeform shapes made from ceramic and LED lighting that use natural forms and repetitions.
