The eclectic interior decor composition of this modern family home in Taiwan combines the unrefined elegance of the natural materials palette (brick structures, wooden cladding, and floors, concrete and glamorous copper), the trendy design pieces adoring the premises (the Benjamin Hubert renown design collection) and untypical design structures – like the arched brick ceilings or the copper plate kitchen island. The designers from KC Design Studio composed expressive and characteristic with its unique combinations decor composition for this young family’s home.
The main living premises possess amazing eclectic ambiance that combines the cellar like coziness, courtesy of the unique suspended ceiling that entwines concrete-spray beams, for ventilation, and arched brick structures, which introduce a romantic touch into the slightly industrial feel of the ambiance, and modern glamour.
Trendy design furniture pieces as the main focal point of which comes from the surface of the copper plate covered kitchen island – entwine with vintage hints introduced by the rich wooden doors and the materials selection. The intriguing ambiance hosts memorable furniture pieces: starting with the Benjamin Hubert’s table and chairs (including the invitingly looking, near the window, lounge chair with its woven aesthetics), cozy cushions assembly sofa. In this very original assembly, a warm feeling comes from the beige color-washed walls, the polished concrete floors, and the materials choices: brick, copper and wood – all in the warm texture and sunny color range.
The rest of the premises, the more privet quarters and children’s room are not less glamorous and stylish with their custom-made structures, an amazing wooden cladding of floors, walls and ceilings, trendy small copper and brass elements – mainly as lighting fixtures and bathroom decor’s elements. And speaking of bathroom decors: the bathroom premises designed for this project are masterpieces featuring trendy tiling – including the very hot this season Bouroullec tiles collection, and a dash of glamor introduced by stylish brass and copper details and contemporary overall aesthetics of premises.
Modernist clean-cut lines, stylized aesthetics, philosophy of “less is more” an abundance of natural materials are the baselines of the project combining the wife’s search for natural materials, the minimalist needs of the husband and the trendy and eclectic approach characteristic for the designers- definitely a winning combination.
