Li Edelkoort has chosen the Danish furniture designer Christina Halstrøm for the exibiton Talking Textiles in Milan together with international names such as Inga Sempé, Hella Jongerius and David Lynch. Until recently, Christina Liljeberg Halstrøm did not even have a producer for her furniture, but after participating at the Stockholm Furniture Fair life has changed. Trip Trap will produce two of her furniture (sofa and chair Cover_Up Beddoes), April her couch Beddo will be exhibited at Edelkoort Talking Textiles in Milan. Talking Textiles focuses on furniture and interior design, using fabrics in new and surprising ways. According to Edelkoort this is the direction for the future design products.
