Beautiful artistic space with an unusual location and slightly rustic edge of the design – this semi-detached house is an intriguing design creation of AHL Architects Associates located in Ecopark Vietnam. Abundance of beautiful woodwork, cheerful textiles, and smooth surfaces enrich and vitalize this cozy and full with light home. The architectural layout was pre existing and because of the Ecopark rules no changes of the facade and the surrounding can be made – so all the creativity was employed in creating the inner-decor.
On the first floor were the kitchen, dining zone and living room premises lie the continuous polished concrete floors create a wonderful base canvas for the solid wood furniture and the more fine bamboo details and decorations that compose the interior decor. Throughout the house, craftsmanship made wooden ceilings capture the eye and bring cozy comfort to the dwelling. The massive wood furniture in the sitting area is juxtaposed to the cheerful design pattern, and the elegant construct of the dining chairs and together they bring comfy vacation villa feeling to the whole composition. The two wooden box-like constructs that frame the central void in the first floor ceiling are clad in inspired by the local Vietnamese tradition shutters. Designer’s lighting solutions supplement the spatial arrangement and bring additional warmth and elegant finishing touches to the interior.
